For a standard safari, three to six months is comfortable. For gorilla trekking, or for the Mara and Serengeti between July and October, book nine to twelve months ahead — permits and the best camps sell out that far in advance. Last-minute bookings are often possible outside peak season; just ask.
We accept Visa and Mastercard, mobile money including M-PESA, and bank transfer — all processed securely through Pesapal. PayPal is available on request. All prices on this site are in US dollars.

More than 60 days before departure: full refund less a $150 administration fee. 60–30 days: 50% refund. Less than 30 days: no refund. Gorilla permits are non-refundable once issued, as required by the park authorities. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation.
Most nationalities need a visa for Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda. Kenya now uses an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) applied for online before departure. The East Africa Tourist Visa ($100) covers Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda for 90 days and is excellent value on multi-country trips. We send full guidance with your confirmation.
A yellow fever certificate is required for entry to Kenya and Uganda if you are arriving from an endemic country. Antimalarial prophylaxis is strongly recommended for all safari areas. Please consult a travel clinic at least six weeks before you travel.
The safari circuits and coastal resorts are well travelled and safe. Our drivers are experienced, our vehicles are serviced and tracked, and every booking includes flying-doctor emergency evacuation cover. We monitor government travel advisories continuously and will tell you directly if anything on your itinerary needs to change.
Road safaris use 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers or pop-up-roof safari minivans, depending on the itinerary and group size. Every vehicle has a pop-up roof for photography, a fridge, charging points, Wi-Fi, and a guaranteed window seat for every guest.
Group departures are capped at six or seven guests per vehicle, so nobody sits in a middle seat. Private safaris are just your party. Either way you get a window.
Yes, and we run a lot of family trips. We build in shorter driving days, choose lodges with pools, and pick parks with reliable, close-range game viewing. Note that gorilla trekking has a strict minimum age of 15 set by the park authorities.
Tell us when you book. Vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free and allergy requirements are all straightforward to arrange — we notify every lodge and camp on your itinerary in advance.
We book all internal and regional flights as part of your itinerary. We do not sell international long-haul tickets, but we are happy to advise on the best routings and timings to connect with your safari.
Park entrance fees, transport, a professional driver-guide, full-board accommodation as listed, drinking water in the vehicle, all game drives and government taxes. International flights, visas, insurance, tips, drinks and optional activities are excluded — every package page lists both in full.
